About Us
The most important element of automatic doors is getting the specification correct at the outset.
This means establishing exactly how the client wants their door(s) to operate in any given situation and then for us to ensure
that this is achievable but also so that it complies to BS 7036, the DDA and Part M Building Regulations.
We will produce a specification and a method of operation which meets all the relevant criteria and so that the client is
very clear on how the door(s) will work. When specifying an automatic door we will take into account the environment and
application of the door, the lead times (these vary from a week to 8 weeks), cost and any personal preference the client has.
We will always survey a site if it is an existing building before we quote and raise a specification and report accordingly.
Procedures
Once an order has been placed we will liaise with the site immediately as this is generally where most of the problems with installing automatic doors comes from as does the dreaded revisit charge if site is not ready.
We need to make sure that there will be power, finished floors, fire alarm contacts, access control contacts etc before we attend.
We will keep you informed every step of the way and copy all correspondence to you so that you have your own ‘paper trail’ if it is
ever needed. If any client handovers are required we can always oblige with this if required.
We offer service agreements (PPM) on all automatic and manual doors and no matter who the manufacturer is.
Service
We are also able to offer the same service with AOV’s for ventilation and smoke venting along with a huge range of bollards and barrier rails.
We are also here to answer any queries or concerns that you have with automatic doors whether this is just a feasibility study, a specification or you have problems with an existing installation. There is no charge or obligation for this either.
We pride ourselves our ability to respond quickly, if you have a query then generally you will need an answer promptly and the same applies to quotes or if there are any problems being experienced on site. Communication IS the key and as a company we have to live and die by this, its what the industry lacks and what we offer.
